What we do
In a town this far west you cannot ring around for a specialist and wait a fortnight. So we do the lot: the wiring, the gas, the aircon, the truck, the ute, the caravan, and the gear you need on hire while the job is on.

General electrical contracting across homes, businesses and industrial sites. Installations, fault finding, switchboards and repairs, done by a licensed contractor that has been working out of Charleville for twenty years.
Inside and out
Interior lighting, and outdoor and grounds lighting for courtyards, paths and car parks. We are also a local solar installer, so panels, inverters and batteries are handled by the same crew that wires the rest of the job.

Commercial and industrial refrigeration, plus air conditioning repairs and installation. Refrigerant work is done under our Australian Refrigeration Council licence, which is the authorisation the law requires for handling gas.
Workshop and roadside
Auto electrical and mechanical repairs in our own workshop on Sturt Street. Caravan and vehicle electrical fault finding is a regular job here, because a lot of what rolls through Charleville has come a long way to get here.

The workshop
C.R.E. stands for Charleville Refrigeration & Electrical, and the company has been registered and working out of Charleville since June 2006. The yard is on the corner of Sturt Street and Cadagi Street. It holds the workshop, the hire gear, the containers and the trucks.

It is not a one-man operation. A photo the crew dug out from 2009 has fourteen people in C.R.E. shirts standing in this same workshop, and plenty of those faces are still around. That matters in a town of three thousand: when you ring, somebody who knows the job picks up.

Our work
Pathway and bollard lighting through a landscaped courtyard, wired, mounted and commissioned. The kind of job you only ever see properly once the sun has gone down.
Bollards down every path, and through the garden beds.
Outdoor lighting is one of those jobs that has to be right first time: the cable goes in the ground, the concrete goes over it, and nobody wants it opened up again. Mounting, wiring, switching and commissioning, all done by the same crew.
